Ja Rule may face legal action following failed Fyre Festival

Things just got even worse for Ja Rule, the co-organiser

of the luxury Bahamas festival that was cancelled once guests arrived .

A lawsuit has been filed against thebrapper and his co-organiser, BillynMcFarland, claiming that festival organisers had been ‘aware for months that their festival wasbdangerously under-equipped and posed a serious danger to anyone in acquaintance’.

The claims were brought by lawyers on behalf of Daniel Jung who spent around $2,000 (£1550) on a ticket and flight to the festival which has been ‘postponed’ until 2018.

The suit claims ‘the festival was an immediate disaster uponbthe attendees’ arrival’ saying ‘the festival’s lack of adequatevfood, water, shelter and medical care created a dangerous and panicked situation among attendees’.

It also claims that wild animals were seen in the grounds of the festival.

G.O.O.D. Music, Blink 182, Major Lazer and Skepta were just some of the acts set to play at the exotic gig, with tickets selling for up to £9,200 a pop.

But on Thursday Blink 182 pulled out of the gig, telling their fans: ‘We’re not confident that we would have what we need to give you the quality of performances we always give fans’; it was later revealed that organisers had yet to pay performers.
